Perhaps he needed time to grow up – as he may have taken her for granted in certain respects. Harry has a wide conjunction between Mars and Uranus, so he tends to act first and think later.  This is one side of him. There is another side where he can be something of a dark horse especially when it comes to revealing his true feelings.

Saturn is his ruling planet, and it is in the sign of Scorpio in the eleventh – which suggests that he may play hard to get or hard to keep as this blend of influences can cause havoc in relationships unless there is an awareness of what is going on. Chelsy also has Saturn in Scorpio so their ability to be truly comfortable with each other may take a while to develop.  They may have been playing cat and mouse with each other is subtle ways.

Imagine a couple of Scorpions circling each other – both naturally defensive and ready to strike first in order to fend off a supposed attack. If they succeed in learning to trust each other and can find a way to regularly discuss their vulnerable feelings they may be able to develop a very deep and truly loving relationship – one that will last the test of time. But if this is going to happen they need to pace themselves and take it all very slowly. The fact that they are willing to talk is an excellent sign.

They may fall in and out of love a few more times as their love life will naturally encompass all ranges of feeling which includes love and hate – but if they can accept these extremes they will be able to create partnership which may be the envy of others who cannot access the same depth of feeling.

Over 2009 both have had some interesting transits which are still in progress. Chelsy has had transiting Uranus in opposition to her natal Venus in Virgo, whilst Harry has had transiting Uranus  in opposition to his Sun. Both have needed space to do their own thing, to experiment with other relationships and to reflect on what they really want. Fast forward another nine months or so and we will have a better idea of which way this is going.

Eclipses tend to bring about a change of gear. They push us to take that next step whether we feel we are ready for it it or not. Doors open, accidents of fate take place, synchroniciites occur and we are thrust into a new place – somewhere we might never have imagined had some invisible activity not forced the pace.

This Eclipse configuration involves Jupiter in Aquarius and the Saturn/Uranus opposition in Virgo and Pisces. This suggests stepping out big time. Saturn is retrograde, so Chelsy, and many others as well, may have had enough of old excuses as to why we can’t do what we want to do. Somehow someway we are all going to be stepping out. It may be a small step for some, or a bigger step for others, but the ripples will extend into the future and make way for many exciting developments. In Chelsy’s case her natal Jupiter squares Pluto and Mercury. There is no known birth time for her – but her current transits reveal that this same pattern is being triggered, as transiting Jupiter squared both planets on January 23 enlivening this part of her chart big time. Her Jupiter return takes place on February 02 – she definately wants out right now.

Harry may have been experiencing some women trouble lately as transiting Saturn in Virgo trines his natal Moon in Taurus. When Saturn transits the sign our Sun is in – he is a Virgo, we may find ourselves moving through some pressured times. The pressure comes from both inside and out and can be quite relentless. Saturn retrograde trine his Moon reveals that this is a time when he may be reviewing the feelings he has for the women in his life. He may be more cut off and detached from his emotions and this may have come across as certain coldness lately. This transit was exact on January 22 – so very recent. Add to this the fact that has had transiting Pluto sextile his natal Pluto and about to conjunct his natal Jupiter, and it looks like he too has been contemplating a change.

Maybe it really is time for them to move on. Harry has even more interesting transits coming up in 2009, as Saturn and Uranus in opposite signs affect his chart. Uranus opposes his Sun in March, and does so three times in all over 2009, whilst Saturn conjuncts his Sun in September. He is going to be torn between wanting his freedom and toeing the line.

Meanwhile Chelsy has had transiting Uranus in opposition to her natal Mars and Venus in Virgo during 2008 – which would also have coincided with a desire for freedom from the same old routines, both in her relationship and in her day to day life. These transits also continue on into 2009 – however transiting Saturn has been conjuncting her natal Mars during December 2008 and this continues into 2009 – so she may feel torn between stepping out of her comfort zone and jumping back inside it. Saturn/Mars transits can be very frustrating, and yet it does seem as though she is genuinly trying to break into a new way of life over 2009. Transiting Neptune squares her natal Saturn in Scorpio, and transiting Uranus trines it – so her cage is being well and truly rattled. Transiting Pluto is also conjuncting her natal Neptune which often coincides with a feeling of disillusionment about aspect of her life – again inducing a desire for change.

Their composite chart ( the chart of their relationship) is very interesting. It shows that whilst they enjoy each other’s company immensely – composite Sun, Mercury, Venus, Juno conjunct in Libra – they are also dealing with some major power struggles as shown by composite Mars conjunct Pluto in Scorpio. Perhaps it is this side of their relationship that is proving to be too exhausting.

It seems like they both need a breath of fresh air and a chance to do their own thing for a while….the coming months will offer opportunities and challenges for them both.

The Merriam Webster dictionary defines this as having qualities of eloquence and ingenuity combined with a certain sleight of hand.  Paul has such qualities in copious amounts – and these have enabled him to rise through the ranks, starting as footman to Queen Elizabeth II, becoming personal butler to Diana, Princess of Wales, and finally ending up as a celebrity and media personality in his own right.

Paul is a Gemini with Mercury in the first degree of this sign, giving him an undeniable way with words – as much with what is said, as with what isn’t. To survive in the Royal household you would need an ability to filter all kinds of information and to tease out the gossip from the important stuff. The gossip in itself would also need to be analyzed for what was worth following up. With his Moon in Aquarius trine his natal Sun, he has an inbuilt set of antennae which would have helped him to tune into all kinds of information buzzing around the palace ethers. He could sense  ahead of time what was coming. And he was and is very clever. All very useful if you are living in such close proximity to someone like Diana.

But it doesn’t stop there as his natal Mercury squares Pluto in Leo and sextiles Mars in Pisces. Along with his familiarity with the daily commerce of Royal life which involved the trading in hints, atmospheres and innuendos, he is more than aware of the power of knowledge, and the leverage that this has in certain circles.

He talks openly about those things that he can talk about and will remain clamlike about issues that should remain secret, unless there is a good enough reason to spill the beans. Mercury/Pluto aspects are more quiet and deadly than the others. With Mars in Pisces aspecting Pluto – there are signs that he was perhaps not quite as innocent or wronged by the many accusations as he would have us believe. Mars in Pisces often operates with a hidden agenda, and is capable of a double bluff. After the publication of two books about his time spent in service of Diana, he appears to have given away many of her most personal secrets, which seems strange for someone who swore that he would take them all to the grave with him.  His reputation at least in the UK plummeted as a result.

Paul has a T-square in his chart with Venus in Taurus at the apex in square to Moon/Uranus opposition with Uranus in Leo. What is especially interesting is that Diana had exactly the same T-square in her chart involving the same planets, except at different degrees of the same signs. With this shared configuration they understood each other only too well. Despite other areas where they may have been in conflict, there was a degree of complicity in their relationship. In Paul’s chart the difference was that his natal Venus also opposed Neptune in Scorpio. making a wide square to the Moon and Uranus. Although both Paul and Diana were highly strung, and although it could be hard to discern the motives of either – Paul had the upper edge. Diana claimed at one time that he was her ‘Rock’, and yet it really appears to be more of a case of shifting sands.

There were blurred areas and nothing was clear cut and obvious. Diana sought to release tension through her various relationships – Paul sought relief in his dreams, fantasies and visions of what could be. Mercury inconjunct his natal Neptune may have encouraged his thinking mind to go overboard by coming up with any number of schemes and plans – all of which had his success and wellbeing as the main priority.

The synastry between Paul Burrell and Diana, Princess Of Wales reveals a fated component. His Moon squares her Neptune, as it does his own, which suggests that they were very attuned to each other in an almost telepathic sense. His Venus also opposed her Neptune so he was certainly caught up in her spell, and yet with his Pluto conjunct her Mars in Virgo and her North Node – he could be very manipulative, and perhaps tried to master the one he was supposed to serve.

Paul became increasingly close with Diana the more isolated she grew from the rest of the Royal family, and was with her at almost all times. As her Pluto trined his Venus she may have relied on his company to mask the pain she felt after the breakdown of her marriage. However with a number of Pluto and Neptune inter-aspects between them their relationship also seemed to have a rather unhealthy aspect which was really doing either of them any favours.

At the time of her death Paul’s transiting Uranus was squaring his natal Venus in Taurus, was triggering his T-square and was coming up to oppose his natal Uranus in Leo. His world was shattered by this event and life would never be the same again.  Actually it took a turn for the worse. He came close to a mental break down and took with him over 300 of Diana’s personal belongings for safe keeping.

In October 2002 he made an appearance at the Old Bailey accused of theft. Once again we find this crucial T-square being triggered in his chart this time by Neptune, whilst transiting Pluto opposed his Sun. Whilst dying a death of profound humiliation, only made easier because the Queen helped save him at the last minute, he seemed simultaneously to be reborn. From this point on his career began to take off. In 2003 A Royal Duty was published, selling over 2 million copies worldwide  – an account of his time spent in the service of Charles and Diana, and of their marriage and divorce. In 2004 he was on prime-time TV in I’M A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here – in which he was runner up. Since then he hasn’t looked back. In 2007 – The Way We Were was published, another book about aspects of his relationship with Diana that he had omitted in the previous book. This too was equally successful. Once again his mercurial nature has enabled him to turn his hand to many new activities that have helped him to flourish.

He suffered further humiliation after giving evidence at the Inquest into Diana’s death over 2007/08 and his reputation plummeted still more, so much so that he has kept something of a low profile ever since, and has not returned to the UK. His confession that he had held back key pieces of information which may have been crucial to the inquest occurred when he was tricked by a ‘pal’ into bragging about his misdemeanours.

However this is 2009 and the horizon seems relatively clear, the sky almost blue and the birds can be heard singing. Paul resides in Florida and has developed a multi-million pound business out of what began as a cottage industry. He currently sells monogrammed articles from fine wines to bed sheets to furniture, and along with his media appearances seems set to continue his lavish lifestyle and to enjoy being the talented entrepreneur he has always been. For now he can relax and look ahead to a very satisfying future.

There are some interesting dynamics going on between them as reflected in their charts. Kate is a Capricorn and William a Cancer and they both have Cancer Moons. Capricorns are not backwards in coming forwards especially when they know what they want. The astonishing thing about Kate is that she always wanted to be close to Prince William and apparently had his picture pinned up on her bedroom wall as a young girl.

Prince William has both his Sun and Moon in Cancer, and in the seventh house of his chart. Relationships are very important in his life, and he is especially loyal once he gets to know people and forms a bond with them. But the square between his relationship zone and his tenth house which reveals his position as future King is a source of much conflict. He is quite capable of dealing with the responsibilities that he has had thrust upon him. But he is happiest in casual surroundings with friends – simply able to be himself and enjoy life.

William has Neptune conjunct his Ascendant and this means that he is something of a chameleon. He is able to change and adapt according to the company that he keeps. It can be quite difficult to know what he is thinking, and how he really feels. An emphasis on the sign Cancer also means that he can be quite moody, and can keep his feelings hidden from anyone he does not trust.

William has just one planet in the earth element, which is Venus in Taurus in the fifth house of his chart. Venus is also conjunct Chiron, which is associated with wounds and wounding. Both planets make a wide opposition to Uranus in the twelfth, which suggests that although he enjoys relationships that provide depth and security, he fears they can be destroyed by fateful events beyond his control – as happened in his relationship with his mother. Relationships for him may seem to follow this pattern of being unreliable. At least there is an underlying fear that this is how they will turn out. Feeling safe and secure within lasting relationships may be a problem for him.

Mercury is in Gemini and trines Mars in Libra, which suggest that he is bright and quick off the mark. He is always very sensitive and aware of how the other person is feeling in his interactions with them. Yet his natal Mars conjuncts Saturn, which indicates that he has a very stubborn streak. He cannot always be as carefree and joyous as he would like to be, duty has to come first. His Sun/Moon conjunction squares natal Mars, which suggests that this situation can stir up a lot of anger, and can cause bad feeling, if he doesn’t take steps to resolve this matter. Anyone in an intimate relationship with him can’t help but be affected by this.

Jupiter conjuncts his Midheaven in Scorpio, so his public image reveals a person who is very expansive, open and generous. Although he is a very public figure he is still something of a mystery.

Kate’s Sun in Capricorn squares her natal Saturn in Libra, which suggests that, like William, there are conflicts in her life between being true to herself and acting out the part of the public figure she is rapidly becoming. If Kate and William stay together this will run through their relationship. They will have a very markedly different public and private face – but will have to learn how to cope with this as an ongoing issue. It is not going to be easy for either of them.

Kate is a woman of marked contrasts. She has Mercury and Venus conjunct in Aquarius, which makes her very sociable, outgoing and attractive. But then she has Jupiter in Scorpio, as does William, so she also enjoys all things intense, mysterious and forbidden. There is certainly more to her than meets the eye.

Kate has Mars, Saturn and Pluto in Libra just as Prince William does. It is unusual that they both have Mars in the same sign, but it turned retrograde in February1982 and stayed in Libra until early August. The only difference between their charts is the position of Venus, the Sun and Mercury and even these compliment the placements of the other.

In Kate’s chart Pluto and Saturn are fairly close together, making a more powerful conjunction than in William’s chart. Pluto conjunct Saturn in Libra bestows the ability to put on mask that can be quite impenetrable. But the mask can also become a prison, so it helps to have an awareness of when to make use of it, and when to let it drop.

Kate’s Moon squares both her Mars and Saturn, which indicates another side to the conflict between her public and private face – and yet this seems to be a part of her destiny. Her Sun squares her Saturn/Pluto conjunction so she may have to sacrifice her ability to be truly herself in order to stay with William.

The inter-aspects between their two charts seem to be very harmonious. There are no aspects to the natal Suns of either, but there are lunar aspects which suggests that this relationship has its roots in the past, and has a karmic foundation. Kate and William may have been together in a similar situation at another time and place. Her Moon squares his Saturn and also conjuncts his North Node, so it seems that their relationship was destined to be.

The situation between their personal planets seems almost ideal with very little to create any real obstacles. The obstacles themselves exist in the situation they both find themselves in, and perhaps this is where a sense of solidarity may help them if they decide to stay together.

Both their Mercury’s are in harmonious signs, his being in Gemini and hers being in Aquarius, so they think from an airy perspective and can communicate in such a way that they understand where each is coming from.

Kate’s Venus trines William’s Mercury and Mars which again is a wonderful sign of their ability to be both friends and lovers. If they have a solid friendship, this will help no end.

Her Jupiter in Scorpio trines his Moon in Cancer, which means he feels very comfortable sharing his feelings with her at a very deep level.

So what was happening in their charts at the time that they decided to separate back in April 2007?

Kate was born with Venus retrograde in Aquarius, which indicates that relationships are very important as a way of understanding her relationship with her own self. It may seem that she is holding something back in her relationship with Prince William. Actually she is always assessing how the relationship lives up to her inner ideals and how good it feels to her. If something is not quite right she will need to return to her inner sanctum and sort his out until she finds the answer once again, within herself.

Kate’s progressed Venus, which continues to be retrograde, aspected William’s natal Pluto in April 2007, which suggests a time in which the relationship went through a period of assessment.

In about nine or ten years her progressed Venus will turn direct once again and this means it will make the same progressed square to Pluto further down the line.

Prince William has transiting Pluto moving backwards and forwards over his Ascendant, which will directly affect his relationships, especially those of the more intimate variety. Not only this but Pluto will soon be opposing his Sun, and later his Moon, which is another arbiter of great change. William’s progressed Sun is also moving to make a square to Pluto which again brings more change at a very deep level. He can’t get away from it.

When Pluto moves over the Ascendant it brings a direct confrontation with the issue of power in all its forms. But it also changes the way we act when with others. The difference can be very dramatic and quite isolating for both parties.

It can be very difficult to acknowledge one’s power and act from the heart as well. To combine both takes a measure of experience and a deep understanding of one’s spiritual nature. William may move between the two, sometimes going one way and then the other. As he already has Uranus in opposition to Venus, his instinct, if things don’t seem to be going quite right within the relationship, is to get away and create a sense of distance, mainly so he can get that all important sense of perspective. This may be a pattern that continues whenever he hits a problem or an obstacle in his relationships – like a reflex action to protect himself from being hurt.

In many ways this rather on and off quality of the relationship is also shown in their composite chart. Composite Venus in Aries trines composite Uranus in Sagittarius, which suggests that as long as they are both enjoying the adventure together it will be fun, but if they get bored they may pursue other avenues. Both composite Mercury and the Sun oppose composite Mars and are squared by composite Moon in Cancer, the Moon being the apex of the T-square. This again suggests a certain fickleness to the relationship, or perhaps reveals that security may be hampered by moodiness or neediness. They seem to be treading a delicate path.

For Kate Middleton the coming months seem to flow along without too many problems. There are no aspects that reveal any major breakdowns in relationships , but nothing which reveals the potential for marriage either. If she is prepared to wait, then she may have to hang on for some time yet.

Prince William is going to move through a major transformation which could take some years to assimilate. It may be unwise for him to marry just yet, as he may have very different feelings and thoughts about relationship once all of this is over.

In the meantime Kate makes a wonderful a companion, lover and friend whom he can talk to and with whom he can feel completely at ease.

Prince William’s progressed chart does reveal a new beginning when his progressed Moon conjuncts his progressed Sun in Cancer on the cusp between the seven and eighth houses. This is one cosmic event that may imply marriage. But this won’t happen until April/May 2011. Just under four years from now. At this time prince William will also be moving through his Saturn Return, which indicates a major milestone in his life. Looking at the evidence this seem to be the most likely time that he could tie the knot.

If we fast forward Kate’s chart to roughly this time period we discover that transiting Saturn will conjunct her Vertex three times – a sign of destiny at work and one that locks her into a very specific duty. She will also be moving through her Saturn return – a time of committing to a new way of life for both of them.

But for now there don’t seem to be any indications of a marriage for either. Which gives them more time to simply enjoy being together and to take each day as it comes. There seem to be a lot of Jupiter aspects prominent in  Kate’s chart over 2009, which does suggest that she is keenly looking forward to something. Engagment is a possibility – the final deed won’t be just yet!
