 Cheryl Cole, Denise Van Outen, Alesha Dixon, Ben Shepherd, Chris Moyles, Gary Barlow, Kimberley Walsh, Fearne Cotton and Ronan Keating have begun the trek to reach the summit of Mount Kilimanjaro, the highest mountain in Africa.
It is 19,300 feet high and will take them 8 days to complete the trek.
The aim is to raise money for Comic Relief’s Red Nose Day – this money will go towards charity projects in the UK and Africa that will provide treatment for the prevention of disease, mental health support, maternal programmes and much more. They were let loose on the mountain today in high spirits. Apparently Cheryl Cole and Kimberley Walsh don’t ‘do’ camping!! How are they going to fare and who will crack up first?

 Tomorrow Jade Goody will marry her fiance Jack Tweed. But unlike most weddings, which are a joyous occasion, this one is filled with a poignant sadness as she is terminally ill with cancer.
She is hoping to have the strength to walk down the aisle, but may have to postpone the evening’s entertainment if it all becomes too much. Even the Justice Department have stepped in to allow Jack Tweedy, newly out of jail, to stay with her on their wedding night.  Although Russell Brand may have grown up in Essex, UK, there is nothing suburban or even remotely humdrum about him. From a child lacking in a sense of identity he now has a unique stage presence.  Anne Hathaway is ecstatic to be in the running for an Oscar. She was nominated for best actress for her part in Rachel Getting Married, in which she played the part of Kym, a recovering drug addict, who comes out of rehab to attend the wedding of her sister Rachel. In the Oscar stakes Anne is equal favourite with Kate Winslet and slightly ahead of Meryl Streep and Angelina Jolie – according to the bookies.

 I have been meaning to explore the idea of crystal astrology for some while – and Barack Obama’s chart seemed a great place to begin. The reason for this is that I find it helpful to look at a chart from a number of different perspectives. For me anything that acts as an additional portal to another order of information is very welcome. This is the reason why I like to bring client dreams into astrological interpretations.
The idea is that a crystal is allocated to each of the 360 degrees of the zodiac. The information needed to create your own crystal chart can be found in Marina Costelloe’s book ‘Crystal Astrology’. Studying Paul Burrell’s chart, (no known time), I began thinking about which aspects and planetary placements might coincide with being a butler or a courtier in a Royal household. A deeper look enabled me to realise that in his case his success was largely due to his mercurial abilities.
The Merriam Webster dictionary defines this as having qualities of eloquence and ingenuity combined with a certain sleight of hand. Paul has such qualities in copious amounts – and these have enabled him to rise through the ranks, starting as footman to Queen Elizabeth II, becoming personal butler to Diana, Princess of Wales, and finally ending up as a celebrity and media personality in his own right.

 British actress Kate Winslet has all the hallmarks of a Libra with a dash of spice for good measure. She came away from the 2009 Golden Globe Awards with two Golden Globes. One for best actress in the film Revolutionary Road which was diected by her husband Sam Mendes. The second for best supporting actress in The Reader. She surpassed a number of Hollywood’s most famous including Meryl Streep, Angelina Jolie, Ann Hathaway and Kristin Scott Thomas.
